ORBIT (Obligation, Revenue & Burn Intelligence Tracker) is an internal application operated by Applied Innovative Technologies, Inc. ("AIT", "we", "us"). It tracks contract funding, billing and labor burn for AIT's own contracts. This policy explains what information ORBIT accesses, how it is used and how it is protected.
ORBIT is not offered to the public. Only AIT employees and contractors who have been given an account by an AIT administrator can sign in. It is reachable only from AIT-approved networks.
When an AIT administrator connects AIT's own QuickBooks accounts, ORBIT reads, and never changes, the following from them:
ORBIT also stores information that AIT users enter directly: contract details, CLINs, modifications, labor rates and staffing. For its own users, ORBIT stores name, email address, role, a hashed password, an encrypted authenticator (MFA) secret and an audit log of sign-ins and changes.
Solely to calculate and report AIT's contract funding, billed amounts, burn rate and remaining funds, to reconcile hours against invoices, and to secure and audit the application. We do not sell, rent or share this information with third parties, use it for advertising, or send it to artificial-intelligence services.
ORBIT only reads from QuickBooks; it never creates, edits or deletes anything there. An AIT administrator can disconnect ORBIT at any time from ORBIT's QuickBooks page or from the connected-apps settings in QuickBooks. After disconnection ORBIT stops retrieving data.
Data is kept while AIT needs it for contract management and its record-keeping obligations. Backups expire after 90 days. When ORBIT is retired, its data and backups are deleted.
We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version.
